From the perspective of the overall environment in our country, the national policy of building an environmentally friendly and innovative country has created the best policy conditions for the faster development of the ice making machine industry. Although China's refrigeration technology has developed rapidly in recent years, there is still a lot of room for development compared to developed countries in terms of machine manufacturing accuracy, processing technology level, and material selection. There is still a gap in the research and development of refrigerants and the energy efficiency level of ice makers.
Firstly, the most critical parts of the ice maker are the refrigeration compressor and ice making components. Companies with international brands of refrigeration compressors are mainly concentrated in Europe, America, and Japan. In recent years, China has also made significant progress in the research and development of screw refrigeration compressors. The screw refrigeration compressor technology jointly developed by Xi'an Jiaotong University and Yantai Binglun Group Co., Ltd., which has multiple patents and independent intellectual property rights, has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. Its energy efficiency and noise indicators have reached the international advanced level. The semi closed or open piston compressors and screw compressors used in industrial and commercial ice makers are mainly produced by domestic brands such as Dalian Bingshan Group (Wuhan New Century), Yantai Binglun Group, as well as foreign joint venture or wholly-owned brand YORK in China COPELAND、BITZER、 Dunham Bush and others. Although domestic refrigeration compressors have made great progress in terms of technological level and processing technology in recent years, there is still a certain gap with the technical level of foreign brands due to issues such as component materials, processing accuracy, and assembly technology. This is reflected in high failure rates, excessive noise, and bulky appearance; In ice making components, research and development should be strengthened in areas such as evaporator efficiency, application of new materials, precision of component processing, and materials.
Secondly, the quality of the ice making system is inevitably related to the quality of upstream machines, equipment, and components, which directly affect the level of the ice making machine. With the continuous improvement of China's research and development level of refrigeration compressors and the gradual completion of the capital accumulation process, there is still a lot of room for development. If the manufacturing level of compressors with independent intellectual property rights in China is further improved, and the precision and efficiency of ice making machine heat exchangers and their processing are further enhanced, its market share will have a greater leap forward in domestic and international markets.

Moreover, the funds invested in technological innovation increase significantly every year. Therefore, the industry should focus on our existing problems such as poor processing accuracy and low material quality, combined with further improvement of energy efficiency and the use of environmentally friendly refrigerants in research and development. Through the combination of industry, academia, and research, specific topics should be proposed to quickly break through and solve relevant technical problems, achieve rapid development of the industry, and create international brands.
